Are you ready to take your barbecue skills to the next level? Look no further than this tantalizing recipe for Teriyaki Smoked Beef Brisket. Get ready to impress your friends and family with this flavorful and tender dish that will leave everyone craving for more.

Preparation Method: Marinate and Smoke

Marinating Time: 4 to 24 hours

Smoking Time: 6 to 8 hours

Smoking Temperature: 225°F to 250°F (107°C to 121°C)

Ingredients:

To create this culinary masterpiece, you'll need the following ingredients:

  • 1 beef brisket (approximately 4-5 pounds)
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Directions:

1. In a bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper. Mix well to create the marinade.

2. Place the beef brisket in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight. This will allow the flavors to penetrate the meat and make it tender.

3. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C). If you don't have a smoker, you can use a charcoal grill with indirect heat. Just make sure to add some wood chips for that smoky flavor.

4. Remove the beef brisket from the marinade and discard the excess liquid. Pat the brisket dry with paper towels to ensure a good smoke ring formation.

5. Place the brisket on the smoker grates, fat side up, and close the lid. Let it smoke for about 6-8 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C). This low and slow cooking method will result in a tender and juicy brisket.

6. Once the brisket reaches the desired temperature, remove it from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes. This resting period allows the juices to redistribute, ensuring a moist and flavorful brisket.

7. Slice the Teriyaki Smoked Beef Brisket against the grain and serve it with your favorite side dishes. Whether it's a fresh salad, grilled vegetables, or buttery mashed potatoes, the choice is yours!
